Joao de Deus...

Joao Teixeira da Faria,who is called THE MIRACLE MAN by some, was born in a small village of Cachoeira da Fuaca in 1942. His family was poor and often went hungry. He only attended school till the second grade.
Joao's psychic abilities appeared at an early age as he would prophecize to his family events that would later take place.
When he was sixteen he had his first vision,Saint Rita of Cassia, who told him to go to the Redemptor Spiritual Center in Campo Grande because they were waiting for him. A man met him at the door and hours later when he woke up he was told that King Solomon had healed many people thru him.Joao had no memory of what had happened.
He then began to be tutored by Master Yokaanon at the temple of Fraternity Electic Spiritualist Universal.
For about eight years he travelled around Brazil and healed many people but the authorities always gave him a hard time and sometimes it was very physical...
He eventually made a deal with the military to let him alone in trade for healing the soldiers.
The location at Abadiania was selected by his spirit guides and has been there at the present location since 1978.
Although Joao has healed many politicians and doctors, the gov't still contiues to harass him.He was arested in 1995 but was let off after Judge Povoa helped him.
Thoughout the world there is fear and jealousy amongst those who cannot control spirit to there likings and so prosecutions continue everywhere. This will never deter spirit because it knows not of fear...
